자음은 소리가 나는 기관인 목, 혀, 잇몸, 이 등을 보고 문자를 만들었어요.
The consonants were modeled after the sound organs, the throat, tongue, gums, and teeth.
그래서 글자를 보고 소리를 내는 방법을 쉽게 기억할 수 있어요.
It's easy for people to remember how to look at letters and make sounds.
먼저, 기본자 ㄱ,ㄴ,ㅁ,ㅅ,ㅇ을 만들었어요.
First, He made the basic characters like 'ㄱ,ㄴ,ㅁ,ㅅ,ㅇ'.
These are basic characters.
ㄱ은 혀뿌리가 목을 막는 모양,
'ㄱ' This is the shape of the tongue’s root blocks a throat,
ㄴ은 혀가 윗잇몸에 붙는 모양,
'ㄴ' This is the shape of the tongue’s front tip touching the upper gums,
ㅁ은 입술 모양,
'ㅁ' This is the shape of a rectangle image of both closed lips,
ㅅ은 이 모양,
'ㅅ' This is the shape of a sharp image of teeth,
ㅇ은 목구멍 모양이에요.
'ㅇ' This is the shape of a circle image of a throat.
그리고 이러한 기본자에 획을 더하여 만들어진 자음의 홑글자와 겹글자를 써 보세요.
and write the basic and double consonants of the consonants made by adding strokes to the basic characters.
그리고 기억하죠?
And you remember, right?
한글을 모아쓰기할 때, 왼쪽에서 오른쪽으로, 위에서 아래로 써요.
When we combine and write Hangeul, write it from left to right, top to bottom.
자음의 순서대로 써 보세요.
Write in the order of consonants.
한글은,
In Hangeul,
초성(첫소리 글자), 중성(가운데소리 글자), 종성(끝소리 글자)의 원리로 음절을 세 부분으로 나누어 조합해서 써요.
The principles of initial consonants (the first sound-letter), medial vowels (the middle sound-letter), and final consonants (the end sound-letter) are used in three sections.
‘ㅎㅏㄴ, ㄱ ㅡ ㄹ’
ㄴ, ㄹ = 끝소리 글자는 받침입니다.
The end sound-letter is a final consonant 받침.
받침이란 한글을 적을 때 자음과 모음 글자 아래에 받쳐 적는 자음 글자를 말해요.
The final consonant, 받침 refers to a consonant letter under the consonant and vowel that is used to write 한글 Hangeul.
이 경우에는 종성이 새로 만들어지는 것이 아니라 초성에 사용되는 자음이 재사용됩니다.
그런데 소리는 다르게 발음이 됩니다.
In this case, the final consonant is not newly made, but the consonant used for the initial consonant is reused.
But the sound is pronounced differently.
그래서 자음 글쓰기 연습은 받침 글쓰기 연습도 되죠.
So the consonant writing practice is also a final consonant writing practice.
